Brian Kim

Biography

Brian got his start in photography when he inherited his late grandfather’s film cameras and fell in love. With his fervent passion for art and fashion, he continues to capture the stories he sees around him filled with the people, places, and things he loves. Brian holds a BFA in Theatre with a Concentration in Acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a published poet and serves as an assistant poetry editor for Hooligan Mag’s Spilled Ink. Brian is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion and the exploration of expression, believing that Art is not what we do, but how we do it.
