Dixie Huckabay

Biography

Dixie Huckabay is a props designer and artisan working primarily in theatre. She holds BFA degrees in graphic design and properties design from the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University, respectively. She works in university and professional theatres, most recently at Rail Events Productions’ Harry Potter: A Hogwarts Express Adventure as props, puppets, and décor supervisor. Her work extends beyond just theatre, however. In addition to prop design, she lends her skills in art direction, costumes, concept art and illustration to a variety of projects. She does work in film, such as Secs on the Beach’s music video, Girls Love Boys Love (2024), and even video games, notably Toontown Rewritten.
